30 Billion Robocalls in 2017

The robocall epidemic rolls on.

Our best estimate is that there were 30 billion robocalls in 2017, an all-time record.

To put that in perspective, that’s over 100 robocalls in the past year for every adult in the country.  That’s nearly 1000 robocalls a second.   That’s over 80 million robocalls a day.

That’s despite the FCC and FTC cracking down.  That’s despite carriers trying to block calls from the bad guys.   That’s despite people giving up their home phone lines because they’ve become inundated.

It’s a big problem, that’s not going away any time soon.

You can read more in our press release.  And you can take action by downloading the YouMail iPhone and Android apps!

  1. I find it difficult to follow up with incoming calls to my phone because instead of the calls going to the voice mail on telepbone the incoming calls go to my g-mail where they often times get lost and/or confounded. As a result, to try to avoid such discrepancy I visited a T-MOBILE store to try to uninstall the YouMail app, but it kept on doing the same thing. I miss many calls due to such discrepancy
For right now I want to erase this app., but it seems impossible. Could you aid me in erasing it so I don’t keep missing my incoming calls? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. The k you. Carl Jimenez. (917)294-1255.

    1. Are you not getting a push notification for each voicemail? They should also be showing up in your YouMail app on your phone, which is super convenient. (They don’t show up in your old voicemail app any more.) If you want to cancel, though, you just need to stop forwarding calls to YouMail. Google “Cancel YouMail” and follow the instructions. By the way, you can get help by doing a live chat at support.youmail.com.

  2. I think this is one of the such a lot vital information for me.
