  1. Looks like it may be targeted to internet customers as well. However, AT&T does not make it easy to recognize ‘legitimate’ authorized automated calls. Sounds like some of those calls employ the older ‘male’ AI voice that is different from the female AI voice that now comes on the line when calling the company’s 800-288-2020 general customer service phone number. And those robocalls include the option for paying by phone with a live operator who immediately asks for account information. Instead of giving the information, its always best to call the comapny’s billing department to get the status on the account.
